It is said “diamonds are a girl’s best friend “. Are you the one who is fond of this statement? Then you surely would like to put up with a diamond nails art, which looks as chic as those dazzling rocks on a lovely neck piece or ring.
So today I will show you an easy way to do but a bit tricky sort of nail art which I came up with to depict your love for those precious gemstones. It will take a bit of your time but it will turn out to be very beautiful.
So let’s see how to create this nail art with diamonds in a few steps.
If you are using a base coat then use 2 coats of base coat on to the nails before starting this design. Now after the base coat has dried up, use 2 coats of shimmer pink nail polish. You can also use white nail polish. This is just to make the base more opaque. Let it dry completely before moving on to step 2.
Now I have painted my nails as above with two colors. You can alternately color your nails or you can use 5 different colors for 5 of your nails. Make sure to use a light base color for a dark colored caviar bead and vice versa. I have used 2 colors which are pink and golden. I have used pink on the thumb too along with my first and last finger. The middle and ring finger is covered with golden. Let the paints dry completely before moving on to step 3.
Now remember, even though the design of a diamond looks very simple, it can be very complicated and time consuming to draw it on the nails. If you are very good at free hand painting then with a nail art brush or nail art paint you can try drawing it and then follow the lines to add caviar beads with a transparent polish. However, I chose to be different. I did the whole design with just caviars. The process I followed is shown above.
Use transparent polish on just one nail at a time. Now place the beads to mark the geometrical shape like I have done above. This will give you the required perimeter to draw up the whole diamond.
I have done diamonds as in prisms on 3 fingers and a shape depicting diamond on the thumb and last finger. It can be very tricky to draw a diamond on the small finger because the surface area is very less. Try putting up with a diamond design instead. Now complete one nail after another with caviar beads. Pick beads with a toothpick properly and place them in an order.
Now when all the nails are completed, put on a layer of transparent polish to seal in the caviars. If your caviars are not of good quality, then with transparent polish application on top, their colors may bleed.
There is your diamond nail art design. You can permute and combine the colors of beads and nail polish to give it a different look.
