When a woman is pregnant, she faces nine months of carrying a baby inside her. Often the time can drag and it's good to have things to distract her and take her mind off things. It can be a variety of things and over the time, women have tried many different things. There is no right or wrong thing you can do whatever works for you.
What works for some people is to knit. They will knit clothes for the new baby. Part of what they knit will depend on when the baby is due. If the baby is due in the winter they will come out will a whole range of clothes such as hats, jumpers and scarves. In the summer, it's not going to be as much. Also the clothes they make may be affected by the potential sex of the baby.
If they know the sex then they'll make sex particular clothes and the colour will often be pink or blue whichever is the case. But if they do not, they are going to have to turn to sex neutral attire and colours. Don't fret. They've still got lots of options.
They may get into television shows and watch a whole show from scratch. People have done this with 24 or Glee while others have done it with How I Met Your Mother or the Big Bang Theory. It doesn't really matter what you choose as long as it's something that you enjoy. It's all about finding something to keep you occupied.
Others learn a new hobby. Many women get into learning a new game. It can be online keno or mah jong; backgammon or poker; bingo or tetris. Again it doesn't matter what you play as long as it keeps you entertained. The thing is that 9 months is a long time as so gives the pregnant mum a lot of time to master something.
Naturally having mentioned that, it's not precisely 9 months as you do not find out you are with child till a touch into nine months. Then on the flipside, a girl can be past due and wait a bit more so things balance out. If you're searching for something to keep you entertained, a jigsaw puzzle is a good idea, particularly some of the larger ones that range into the thousands of pieces.
Towards the end of the pregnancy, a woman is prone to nesting. By this is meant is getting the house ready for the new baby. It can take the shape of many forms. Some women like to clean the oven or the fridge. Then you have some who like to bake. Then there are some women who like to rearrange their wardrobe and all of the cupboards.
Part of this process is preparing for the new baby which is patently an enormous deal. Getting comfortable with a new individual is a huge concept. Everybody deals with it in their own way and that's fine ; particularly the mother.
