Gentle Exercises for Hip Dislocation & Fitness – Consult Your Doctor
Questionhello,
I can not do exercises such as running and jogging and i cant do a lot of walking either because i have a displaced hip bone. i am getting very unfit and i am worried about it. do you know any kind of exercise that will not be bad for my leg?
and will help me stay fit. the other thing i am worried about is my stomach. it is growing out of shape. i need some tips.
AnswerDear Ary, This is a question for your Orthopedic doctor, the doctor who takes care of your displaced hip. Your doctor will decide what exercises you can do, then hopefully order a consult with a physical therapist. If you are doing this on your own, then general walking daily along with crunches and light weightlifting geared to the upper body is what I suggest.
