Lost Wax Casting of Aluminum: Challenges and Considerations

Is it possible to cast aluminum using lost wax method?

Greetings,
I'm not too sure that this is possible, mainly because aluminium is difficult to melt and keep in a liquid state without oxidising.
My understanding is that it needs to be done under controlled oxygen free environment - also because the melting point is so low, it's hard to keep liquid.
Other metals with much higher melting points stay liquid and cast much much easier, especially for lost wax.
