QUESTION: hi. I am wondering...what do  the words "14k yellow gold rhodium enhanced" mean?? it is in a pr of earrings written appra. thx  Brenda

ANSWER: It means The gold is plated over by rhodium which is a white metal

QUESTION: thankyou. BUT the earrings are gold  yellow and have channel set diamonds (in a whire back ground) So is it possible, and common, to just rhodium plate part of a earring? Or can rhodium go over yellow gold? I thought it was white only> Thankyou so much for your responses. brenda

Thats what they did. They rhodium finished part of the earring and they are disclosing that so someone wont think they are both white and yellow gold.
Make sense to me.
