How to Determine if Your 18K White Gold Tennis Bracelet is Solid or Gold‑Filled

Hi Les,

I have this 18K white gold tennis bracelet.  The appraisal indicates that this is an 18k white gold bracelet, but does not indicate whether or not it's solid or filled.  The replacement value is $3500 as per the appraisal.  I have it advertised for sale and a woman has asked me if it's solid gold!  I don't want to tell her it is solid if it's only filled. What should I do?

Leah if it says 18kt white gold, Its solid gold and has 75% pure gold mixed with 25% alloys to make it white.....its Solid, she is asking if the gold is hollow inside which would make it very light weight and not desirable since it could break easily
