Question
bracelet
Hello,
I'm trying to find out history on this bracelet that I purchased. I would love to find out if it is an authentic piece from Chanel and what time period it is from. It is real snakeskin as far as I can tell, but the bracelet isn't signed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
AnswerHello Amy and thank you for your inquiry. To positively authentic your bracelet since it is not signed would require a valuation by a certified jewelry appraiser - estate jewelry appraiser preferably. You could probably get a referral from your local antique shop or museum. I have listed a site below that gives some good information on dating Chanel items. Just copy and paste it into your browser address field and hit enter:

There are quite a few Chanel Collectors sites online and one of them might be able to give you some additional information.

There are also online appraisal sites that will research and value your item for you. "What's It Worth To You" is an example and they do charge a small fee.
Hope this helps and enjoy your bracelet !
