I think at one time this might of been a pendent,missing the top part of pendent, what you put the chain threw. anyways it measures a little over 2 inches.I really think its bronze and silver.It is three-d effect, it is thick and heavy.Take a look at scan and see what you think.Its well made. AnswerHello Kim and thank you for your inquiry. What you have is a representation of Zodiac sign of Aquarius. I believe this is part of a metal button or buckle. This is the part that would have been on the top of a shiny metal base with either a button or buckle attachment..2" is large for a button but maybe a clip or even overlay on a small reticule or compact. I have not been able to find the exact scene, but some similar. You might try your local library or bookstore for books on antique buttons or buckles.
