Restoring Tarnished Silver: Solutions for Darkened Jewelry

I have a silver necklace that was darkened as a result of soaking in a sulfur hot spring. How can I return it to it's original luster? Is it possible?

Hi Sherry, I am sorry to hear of the damage to your necklace. 2 possibilities. One is to take your item to a good jeweler and have him rouge buff it after he applies ultasonic waves to it and the only other thing if that doesn't work try SemiChrome Polish. Find it in a hardware store. Its a bit pricey but its the only application I recommend. Good luck, let me know what happens.
