Catering Menu Choices: Beef Tenderloin vs. Chicken - What's Popular?

My caterer keeps on suggesting that I serve Beef Tenderloin. They are saying everyone has that and I should have the best to look good. That would be nice but it is almost double the price of the chicken. What do most people order?

Hi Gail, There is no way of knowing what most people eat around your area but if could be quite possible Beef Tenderloin is their most popular selection because brides may all be upsold to that like he is trying with you. Stick with what you can afford. As long as it is good that is what counts. I am sure if you check other caterers in the area you will find that their most popular dish is something else. For me the most popular is chicken.
