QuestionI've been having a burning sensation on my skin, mostly my arms and legs, that comes and goes. I went to the doctor and got no answers, besides her telling me my sugar was elevated and she wanted to test me for diabetes. I have hypothyrodism and found out last year I have a ovarian cyst/fibroid. Could this be causing the burning sensation on my skin? It feels like I have Icy Hot or Deep Heat rubbed on my arms and legs. I used to have low grade fevers off and on when I starting having the female problems, last year, but they have since stopped. Now it's just the buring skin. That's why I thought maybe it had something to do with the ovarian cyst. My doctor did tell me that the cyst was pressing my uterus towards the back, and that's what was causing my back pain, but not the fever.

well i think this burning pain your having is do the cyst pressing on your uterus, and back.
this is called referred pain, meaning its coming from something else. the cyst is most likely pushing on the spine as well, causing the burn in your legs.
nerves are somemuch involved in this could of pain, and this could be a serious thing.
have you seen a doctor for a removal of your cyst? maybe you should, its just going to give you more problems down the road.
i suggest talking with a doctor over removal, and please get a 2nd opinion.
