Do Stationary Bikes Build Hips? What You Need to Know

I was told by a friend that Stationary Bicycles widen the hips. Is this true? Thank you.

I would tend to disagree. If you were to use high resistance it would build your thighs up to a certain degree depending on whether your legs build muscle easily or not as well as your particular genetic and body shape. If you are worried about building your butt and thighs why don't you try the ellpitical or treadmill.
I mainly use the stationary bikes for interval training only for my clients using low to medium resistance but a very high cadence.
