Understanding and Addressing New Cellulite: Causes and Solutions

Question
Dear Bonnie,

I have a seemingly obvious question that I cannot seem to accept the answer to. Cellulite. I only started developing it recently, and in the past 2 years, it has now become visible in the mirror. On my knees, my inner thighs, backs of thighs, and bum. I see the indents slightly when i look in the mirror. I gained 30lbs due to an antidepressant and eating fast food in 2 years. I now feel, after reading that cellulite is permananet, like giving up. I feel like even if I work it off at the gym, I will never get my smooth skin back. Is it true? Or can exercise truly work it off if it's "recent" accumulation? It isn't very loose because my skin is tight by nature. But it's there.

Answer
Hi Karrie,
Thank you for your question.
Cellulite is the bane of most womens existence now.It is very annoying to have it-and hard to get rid of it.
I have found that if you get the muscles firmer-that will reduce the look of the cellulite.
You should sart doing more squats, lunges and step ups.
Do not give up!!
Your smooth skin should come back-make sure that you drink plenty of water to keep your self hydrated.
Just stay positive-do not let cellulite stop you from working out.
Thank You,
Bonnie
