QuestionI am a healthy 61 year old woman. I have maintained a normal weight all my life and have no pain or other problems.
In the last year I have gained 3 inches of flab on my abdomen, without gaining weight or inches anywhere else. There is no pain and I have no reason to think it is any kind of tumor.
How can I get rid of this flab? Sit ups, crunches, etc have had no effect.

How is your diet?
Your eating habits are more important than spot reduction exercises.
Try to eat more protein and carbohydrates and less sodium and fat-also be sure to drink plenty of water.
