Safe Exercise During Early Pregnancy: Walking & Beyond
QuestionI have been doing a 2 and or 3 mile walking video 4 to 5 times a week for about 4 months now. I am currently about 6 weeks pregnant. I did have some light spotting last week for 3 days. Is it safe to continue to do the walking video? The video is a 3 mile walk with some cardio work lasting about 45 minutes.
AnswerAny kind of exercise is great during your pregnancy. You should definately continue whatever you used to do unless you feel you have to stop. If you feel your body start to act negatively bc of the exercise you need to lay low for a lil while...or just shorten the video down to an hour or so.
