Pregnancy Weight Gain: Understanding Healthy Weight Fluctuations & Dietary Tips

I am 16 weeks pregnant and not gained any weight. In fact, I have lost 1+1/2 pounds. Can you tell me what I can include in my diet to increase weight gain? Will I eventually gain weight on my own? Should I cut back a little on exersize until I do start to gain weight? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hello.
If you have been ill to your stomach and not eating much or vommiting then that could be why you have not gained and even lost.
If you are eating right and still not gaining weight you should make sure your Dr. notices this and makes sure nothing is wrong.
If you are a heavy person you may not gain any weight.  There is probably nothing you can do if you are eating right.
You will start to gain most likely.  Good luck to you.
