Pregnancy Timeline & Signs: Understanding Your Due Date & Development

Question
If I were to go from the first day of my last period, I would be 9 weeks pregnant.  But, I have gained considerable weight without changing anything about my lifestyle that would contribute to weight gain.  My last cycle was on Sept. 12th (or there about) and only lasted for one day.  I don't have regular cycles and am wondering if I could be further along than I am thinking.  What signs can I look for that would determine about how far along I actually am?

Answer
From the way you describe it you probably are farther along than you think.  There is a logitimate reason behind this.  Sometimes women have their periods for up to 2 months after conceiving.  You could be 3-4 months along even though you had periods.

The only way to actually know how far along you are would to go see a doctor for a sonogram/ultrasound.
