IVF Pregnancy Length: Understanding Your Due Date

hello, i'm 29 no children. i'm having an embryo transfer on september 19 2005. i was just wondering what is the pregnancy length (how many weeks) with ivf since we know when was the conception, and when will my due date will be.

We usually count a pregnancy as being 40 weeks from the first day of your last period, or 38 weeks from conception. Since you are having IVF, your due date will be 38 weeks from the day of implantation. You still will count that as 2 weeks pregnant (on that day). If the IVF is September 19, then you are due on June 12.
