Pregnancy and Massage Therapy: A Guide for Massage Therapists

Question
My question is this - I'm a massage therapist, but I've been thinking about having a baby this year. I'm a rookie MT and I've never had a baby before, so of course I have my worries...Am I going to be able to continue work? If so, for how long in the pregnancy and when should I stop? Is there anything in particular that I shouldn't do?
If you could give me any advice on this it would be fantastic.

Answer
I have  had many massage therapists who were pregnant and continued working throughout the pregnancy. Sometimes it can become tiring and you may have to take rest periods between clients. You may develop cramping of your muscles during the sessions. However, there is no danger to the pregnancy or to the fetus from your work.
