Is Vaseline Intensive Care Pro-Retinol Lotion Safe During Pregnancy?

I have been using Vaseline Intensive Care Lotion Firming and Radiance which contains Pro-Retinol for the past month now. I am 25 weeks pregnant. I read that retinol can cause severe birth defects. I am freaking out I had no idea. Am I harming my baby?

Hi Carrie,

I am sure things will be fine- but just to be on the safe side you could  call the Vaseline company and check with your doctor. I believe if you are taking some sort of pills or something that would make a big difference.... but skin cream? Especially something over the counter and not prescription? It is probably a very tiny amount of it in there.
