Question
I am 35 weeks pregnant and was wanding when should i stop working. I am a rural mail carrier and on the road in a vehicle for 98 miles. There is some very bumpy roads on my route. My due date is August 3.

Answer
The decision to stop working is purely up to you. Some women can continue working up to the day that they start having contractions. If you are having any contractions or if you feel pressure and are excessively tired at the end of your shift, stop work. Your doctor can give you a note for your employers. Federal states that, if you stop working, you must be allowed to return to work at a similar pay grade, after the baby is born. If you feel uncomfortable you can stop working any time after 36 weeks gestational age.
