Irregular Periods & Potential Pregnancy: Understanding Your Symptoms

My last full and regular period was on 1-18-07. My period usually lasts 6-7 days and is extremely heavy.(like two maxi pads full every hour) I also usually spot the whole day before I expect my period. Well in the month of Feb. I didn't spot at all and my "period" was a day late. Except it only lasted 3 days and was really light for me. (less than a pad full every so few hours.) I know my boyfriend released cum inside of me when I was very fertile. (More Egg white cervical mucus than usual)& I have many early signs of being pregnant but when I took a home pregnacy test It came back negitive. So what could be going on with my body?

It could simply be a bit of a hormonal imbalance which is causing the unusual period and the symptoms you are having.

My suggestion is to wait and see what the next cycle brings. If you get a period at the expected time and heavy enough to be considered a period, I'd say you definitely aren't pregnant.  If you don't get a period, or if it is even lighter than before, then test again. It may have been that your hCG was simply too low at the time you tested for it to read positive, especially if you did not use 1st morning urine to get a concentrated sample.
