Question
Helo i cant seem to find an satisfying answering regarding internal subchorionic hemorrage.

im having twins and during our 6th weeksit showed on my TVS tha i have MINOR internal subchorionic hemorrage,i am now about to finish m\the first timester but the hemprrage is still thereim getting worried.

Also my doctor said i have placenta preavia totalis but the babies are on separate sacs.

My doctor also confirmed that the baby's are doin fine but im still worried.

Can the hemorrage affect the babys' progress?

How dangerous is it?  would it go away?

Does it have something to do with me having placenta preavia totalis?

And would my babies be experincing Twin-to-twin transfusion ?

and is there a certain book you could recommend on twin pregnancies and its complications?
pls help me..

Answer
Dear Iele,

Congratulations on your pregnancy.  You question is very technical, and I am not an OB/GYN doctor.  I would only like to mention that I have a lot of clients with twins AND placenta previa diagnosis.  Very often babies turn around before the due date, and the condition thus goes away.  If they don't your doctor might choose a C-section for you, and the babies will be fine.  Hope it helps.

All the best,

Anna
