Trying to Conceive After Breastfeeding: A Timeline & Tips

ok so i stopped nursing about when my son was 9-10 months i got my period like a month after that. He is now 16 months. i wanna another baby an we been trying for  about 7 months an i have periods some times there regular an sometimes there like last longer or come late idk but we want a baby an i guess idk i thought maybe i was pregnant this time but i guess not an i assume my period is suppose to come this week of the oct,17 an i guess i have hard time knowing when i ovulate an timing everything right. can U please give me ur advise an help me i want to get preg an have baby....why is it so hard.....


p.s we don't know if its him but he has never had or tried for kids except with me an he is 25 so i assume he should be fine

It doesn't sound like your periods are regular since the baby came. It is possible you aren't ovulating every month. I would give it a little more time for your body to get back to regular cycles.
You can also buy an ovulation kit to help you with your timing of days and when try.
If after a few more months, you can make an appointment with an infertility doctor or your regular OB doctor. They will be able to run some tests and have more of your history.
