Gestational Diabetes at 36 Weeks: Risks & Management

"I am 36wks pregnant, I have failed all my Glucose testing and my Dr cannot get me in to see a specialist for Gestational Diabetes. Will they Induce me if I cant get to the specialist and my Glucose levels are still high ??"

Well, at 36 weeks, the baby is almost mature and most babies survive without the need to be incubated. I am just wondering about the problem of seeing a diabetes specialist and some maternal fetal specialists are able to take care of diabetes themselves.

I guess ur doctor already made a decision to induce u at 37 weeks and this carries no worries at all.
