Early Pregnancy Pain: Causes & Concerns - What to Know

i am 3wks preg now. I am getting severe stomache ache & bach ache like menstrual cramping (The symbols i get before menstrual period). Recently 4 mths back my preg gr miscarried due to undevoloped embryo sac. I am afraid the same is repeating this time also. Please tell me what it indicates if these pains are coming during pregnancy. I was having PCOD(not now).

It can be a miscarriage, although usually is accompanied by bleeding, but it can be due to some other reasons such as a gastrointestinal problems. Another possibility is ectopic pregnancy but pain is usually localized, although in many ocassions it can be vague and ill defined, to 1 side of your abdomen not your stomach

A transvaginal ultrasound is essential to confirm the status of your pregnancy and make a proper diagnosis.
