Post-Miscarriage Period Return: What to Expect & When

I found out I was pregnant June 14th 2009 and I started to miscarry June 17th 2009. They guessed I was around 4 weeks due to my LMP which was May 14th, 2009. I finished all my bleeding within five days, and on June 20th my HcG level was 0. When can I expect my period to return?

Hi Lizz
        This is probably one of the most frequently answered questions. A miscarriage can really throw your system out. Some women find that their periods return to normal straight away and others can wait for a few months.
It takes on average aprox 6wks for periods to return, but don't be suprised if it's a litle longer. If you find that they have not returned within 12wks then go and see your doctor. They may be able to give you something to help kick-start your cycles.
