Questionhello! my fiance and i have been trying to conceive a child for about a year and a half with no success. we are both in our early 20's and long for a child. we are both healthy with no known diseases or problems. we get our hopes up and then get them broken everytime she is late ovulating. i'm just looking for any advice on where we should begin from here and what some common problems are. we've researched abit but im just looking for any help in this situation. any help is greatly appreciated, if you need any more info please feel free to ask! thank you for any assistance!
AnswerHello Greg,
In general, if a couple has been unable to get pregnant after one year of trying, we recommend doing a full infertility evaluation. That evaluation will check every step of the process required to become pregnant. Because your fiance is young, she should have become pregnant by now. There is definitely something going on and it needs to be discovered.
I would strongly recommend that you see a fertility specialist to have an evaluation done. That will help with overcoming some of your frustrations and get you on the path to a pregnancy.
