Answer
Hello Amlu from Singapore,

Yes, it can be normal to have light cramping after IVF and still be pregnant.  I think that it is very common.  Also, many of my patients have some light spotting as well.  I usually will not worry about these symtpoms.

This is obviously a simple question that you should direct to your doctor, and not on the internet.  Since I don't know your doctor's protocols, and I don't know exactly how far along you are, it is hard to know exactly what is going on.  My patients call me directly, or email me, and I answer them immediately.  So should yours.  Give your doctor a call so they can give you the care that you need and pay for.  Hopefully then, they will know what you are going through and you can get the reassurance or care that you need.  You never know, your doctor might want to go ahead and do the pregnancy test now instead of next week.
