Irregular Periods & Dizziness: What Could Be the Cause?

Hi, I am having mended problem since 14th of April my last period date was 8th of march after that I have had on 14 and it has been bleeding since due to which I am getting weak and feel dizziness .. I have taken ultrasound missed pregnancy and hormones test all the test result normal .. plz tell me what should I do

Hello Sabx from Pakistan,

First, you need to go see a competent Gynecologist.  You should not have to ask this question.  It should have been taken care of by your doctor.  If an ultrasound is normal, that means that there is no anatomical reason that can be seen on ultrasound.  It rules out things like fibroids and ovarian cysts.  A pregnancy test, of course, rules out pregnancy.  Hormone tests evaluate for a possible hormonal problem, but having a normal test may not necessarily rule out an ovarian dysfunction problem.  This is when the ovary does not process the hormones correctly leading to an ovulation dysfunction and imbalance of the hormones.  This is the most common reason for dysfunctional bleeding.  The only other test that I could recommend would be a hysteroscopy to look into the endometrial (uterine) cavity to see if there might be a polyp or small fibroid that cannot be seen on ultrasound.  Also, a biopsy of the endometrial tissue should be taken to rule out endometrial tissue abnormalities.

Once all these tests are completed and if there are no abnormal findings, then the diagnosis has to be dysfunctional uterine bleeding which is usually treated with birth control pills.
