QuestionDear Mam,
I am now 30 yrs old.
yestrday I had the HSG test.It read as below:
Hysterosalpingogram (Digital)
Water soluble contrast was introduced into the uterine cavity with the help of metallic cannula and films were taken.
Uterine cavity is normal.
Both fallopian tubes are visualised.
Free spillage of contrast is seen in both sides.
Eight months back my HSG repot which stated as below:
Water soluble contrast was introduced into the uterine cavity with the help of metallic cannula and films were taken.
Uterus is of arcuate type.
Both fallopian tubes are seen.
Minimal spillage of contrast is seen bilaterally.
Four months back I had test mycobacterium tuberculosis complex (MTBC). The result was negative.
Four months back I had test Multi-Plex PCR for TB. The result was positive.
As per my Doctors advise,
i) Pyricontin one tab daily X 6 months- I had completed four months course.
ii) AKT-3 one kit daily X 3 months- I had completed the course.
iii) combunex 800 mg one tab daily X 3 months- I just finished one month course.
My question is:
i) Is there any improvement in my HSG report?
ii) may i conceive now?

AnswerHello Samit from India,
The most recent HSG shows normal flow through the tubes which means they are now open. That should certainly help your chances, but whether or not you conceive is too complicated a question for me to answer. Only God knows that answer.
