Full Body Scan: Benefits, What to Expect & Is It Right for You?

Would like your opinion on the Full Body Scan that you are able to get without your doctors
referal.
In Massachusetts it is called Sheilds MRI.
Will it detect any problem that might exist.
It's a good idea for people to have one and maybe they can treat something before it gets serious.
I am thinking of having one and it includes
heart,lungs,abdomin.
What do you think?

I don't know how much it costs, but typically, "fishing" for problems with those type of tests rarely are of benefit.  It rarely, rarely catches a disease process, but almost always, does not.  Depends on how much $$$ is involved.  If it is a $99 special, it is reasonable... if it is several hundred, I think you are wasting your money unless you are having some symptoms.
