Understanding Persistent Chills and Low-Grade Fever: Causes & Relief

Question
i have a question about severe chills, with low fever, reocurring maybey every week to 2 weeks.these chills have been happening for about a year now ,even in 85 deg. temps when it happens i freeze so bad i shake so hard i feel like my back could break.i usually have to take scallding hot bath to get it to go away.been to doc. every time they say i have bronchittis?does this cause severe chills and low fwver for this long?

Answer
Dear Corry,   It could be bronchittis, but the doctors would have to take a chest x-ray or at least hear something in the lung area with the stethascope inorder to make that diagnosis....

I would suggest that you have the doctors do the following blood work

Complete Thyroid Panel
ANA blood test
CBC with differential

These sound like symptoms of several autoimmune diseases but without blood tests it is not possible to even start determining what may be wrong...  If need be, change doctors.....

Thank you,    karen
