QuestionI'm not really sure if I am asking a question you can answer but I got a call from my best friends mum 2 days ago, and she said that my best friend has been taken to a "facility" in Perth (we live in Geraldtown) she has been seeing a therpist for a while because we think she might be depressed, and she in there because she tried to swallow all this salt.....I don't know much else about what happened, and I'm not allowed see her or talk to her so I'm really scared! Was she trying to kill herself? I've heard of people taking pills before, but salt? What was she trying to do?
AnswerI don't know if I have enough information to make a call on this one. Since this is one of your best friends, if you have a good relationship with their mother, I think the thing to do would be to write or call her, and express your concern and ask if there is anything you can do to help, or if there is any way to get a message to them to say hello.
I don't understand trying to overdose on salt, though.
