Vertigo Symptoms: Causes, Relief & When to See a Doctor

Question
hello.
for over 2-3 weeks now i have been experiencing some vertigo when i am in moving vehicles, lately however it has gotten a lot worse.
last week, i had immense pressure building up in my head it felt as if someone was pressing it between their hands, i also felt pressure in my ears, and i believe my hearing got a little affected. my motion sickness gave me really bad nausea and even caused me to throw up, something i never do. i feel really weak when i get all this, and it is still going on... occasionally i take some antivert, but i dont believe it helps much.
in my opinion, and just like you i have helped doctors diagnose problems, i think i might have either a sinus infection or some type of acute labyrinthitis.
what is your opinion?
thank you

Answer
Dear Kathy,   You definately have something new going on and if I were you I would be going to the doctor and having a MRI done on my brain and on my sinus cavities....  This way it will rule in or rule out sinus cysts/infections and brain tumors...  Then the doctors can go from there trying to find other causes...  Get the obvious 2 out of the way first....

Also, make sure you are NOT pregnant....

thank you,   karen
