Sudden Unexplained Weight Loss: Causes & Concerns

I apologize, but there is one more major thing happening with my husand. In the last 4-6 weeks, he has lost about twelve pounds. He was not heavy to start with. He keeps saying he needs to eat more, he is getting too thin. His portions of food are getting smaller. He just says he is not that hungry.

Hi Susan,
Don't apologize. Weight loss is a VERY significant issue. Again, not having the benefit of talkig to and examining him hampers any advice I could give. As I said in my previous email, do NOT let his doctors drop the ball on this. He should probably be seen in a larger hospital with more specialities available to you both.
