QuestionGreetings Dr. Aukerman!
My name is Oliver
I have been feverishly trying to get rid of these. I purchased Hylexin which was described as a revolutionary product which could do it but it did basically nothing. I did a whole lot of research and found that liver ailments could be partially responsible and upon taking some milk thistle extracts it seemed like it kind of lightened up but not by much. I was wondering if I should continue trying to detoxify my liver and to strengthen it. I was also wondering in regards to your post saying we should take magnesium oxide to help with bowel movements. I have always had trouble with bowel movements and I eat lots of fibre and greens but I have a very irregular sleeping schedule (parties or exams etc.) I was wondering how much daily magnesium oxide intake is a safe amount. Also, for omega 3 and B-complex supplements, I was also wondering what your recommended amounts are. These questions are pretty much just asking for more details regarding your previous post. Thank you for your time.

Answer: milkthistle is largely for alcoholic liver disease and not for cosmetic situations so I would not expect much further improvment.

Answer: my patients start with 250mg before each meal and 500 mg at bedtime with Calcium carbonate 500mg with Vit D twice a day like morning and at bedtime.

Answer: as noted above my patients start there and increase every week by 250 mg until they are having 2-3 movements each day. There does not appear to be a toxic level if the patient has normal kidneys but you need to be talking to your doctor.
Also, for omega 3 and B-complex supplements, I was also wondering what your recommended amounts are.
Answer: This depends on the examination and the number of problems, but can usually start for my patients at B-50 before each meal and 3000 mg of fish oil before each meal. Here again you need to be talking to your doctor.
