Understanding Seizures and Potential Deception: A Concerned Partner's Guide

Question
I'll make this brief, in case you can't answer. My bf 46, has faked seizures in the past when relationships were going bad.We had problems,he moved out, had more seizures,told me 'if I am sick, they'll keep me in the shelter longer".A doc put him on Dilantin 400 mgs. When he was home here with me he said he had 2 seizures but he had them in the bathroom so I wouldn't worry. ?Am I NUTS or whats going on here? CT scan showed nothing. He says he wants to work, but he says the doc says he can't work.My question:Faking seizures? Can you actually plan on having a seizure in the bathroom? HELP!

Hope you are feeling better~you're in our prayers! Love ya!

Answer
debbie;

yes, indeed.......

people do it all the time,i have seen it myself.

its hard to prove it,unless you see it.

it would show up in the brain-functions,and a MRI or CAT scan would show it.

this relationship doesnt sound like its a good one,and he needs some help. aspecially if he fake seizures,this isnt normal by any means.
