QuestionI am a 62 year old female and about a week ago I fell down backwards off the step that leads down to our front porch.
I landed very hard on my spine (tailbone) then went back and hit my upper back and bite my tongue. (our porch is concrete but we have a thin outdoor carpet on it. For the first several days, my tailbone hurt when I went up and down stairs or bent over or sat down. It's been a week now and my tailbone is still hurting when I sit or walk up stairs, etc. I think maybe I should have gotten an x-ray.
Do you think I may have done some damage to my tailbone and if so, what could the doctor do about it? If don't do anything, I think the hurting will probably go away in time. I would sure appreciate your opinion about my situation.
AnswerThere is nothing to do for this type of injury except ice pack and tylenol PLUS the following:
Pain is worse and healing delayed from the omega-6 plant oil toxicity from too much poultry, chips, peanut products, flax or gluten in your diet. see http://efaeducation.nih.gov so see how bad these are for your health.
If OK with your doctors, omega-3 plant oil at 2000mg before meals and bedtime plus B-100 high potency B complex, plus 1000mg of Vit C each 4 times a day, to heal in a week or two.
