Eye Injury in Children: Exploring Surgical Options

Thank you for your response regarding our son's eye problem.  My next
question is:  In your opinion, would this condition warrant looking into possible
surgery options?  It was noted that the scar is within the outer layer of the retina
and is shallow.  Thank you again for your help.

First, you would have to see an eye surgeon, ophthomolagist.  Then decide whether a surgery would improve his vision versus cosmetically making him better.  This is such a sub specialized area that I would refer you on because they are developing more and more procedures to help eye problems... good luck with it...
