Persistent Weight Loss & Digestive Issues: Seeking Medical Advice

Question
Thanks for taking the time to answer my question.  I am a 27 year old female, and this has been goin on for about 2 months now.  I am a scrub tech in surgery, so I am on my feet 10 hrs a day and forced into a weird diet-sometimes you get to eat, sometimes you starve; I'm 5'10" and weigh 200lbs.   I've noticed a loss of appetite and unintentional weight loss-I've lost almost 40lbs now, when I do eat it goes straight through me almost instantly-mucusy diarrhea; I've been nauseated and even vomited on 3 different occasions and pretty much keep heartburn-I can still taste what I ate up to 3 days later; I stay tired alot, and just don't have any energy. I recently broke my left foot in June and had to wear a boot for 13 weeks before it healed.  Around the same time, I had an MRSA infection on my thigh which had to be drained and packed. It has reoccured twice since then, but cleared up with Bactrim and Keflex. Today I find out that I have a stress fracture on the same bone in my right foot. Is there some kind of underlying issue or coincidental it's happening at the same time and should I be concerned?

Answer
I am trying to put all the symptoms together and I don't come up with anything.  The big concern is the weight loss and GI symptoms (without trying.)  I think you need a complete workup for this, by a gastro... I would be concerned that there is something like crohn's, ulcerative colitis, or another intestinal disorder.  Other problems, like pancreas insufficiency or gall bladder disease also.  Get to your doc and get this evaluated.....
