Gabapentin & Lyrica: Potential Kidney Risks & Side Effects - Expert Advice

I am taking 3600mg of gabapentin daily and 45mg of lyrica daily will or can this cause kidney failure

Hi there Susan, thank you for posting your question. My area of expertise is in human sexual dysfunction. I hope I can be of some small help to you.

Both gabapentin and lyrica are what I would term "nasty" drugs by which I mean that they have plenty of side effects. However, if they are doing their job in relieving your symptoms or pain, then they are well worth it. But renal failure is not high on the list of side-effects of either drug and I do not think that you need worry about that at all. Good luck.
