Endometriosis: Understanding Symptoms, Treatment & Seeking Expert Advice

RESPECTED SIR / MADAM,

I want your HELP in following aspect . My unmarried daughter (21 years)  is suffering from ENDIOMETROSIS  Kindly suggest me to come out from this problem:

KINDLY ADVICE TO a father WHO IS ABSOLUTELY IGNORANT ON THIS ISSUE , feeling helpless, passing everyday with agony AND YOU ARE THE EXPERT

PRESENT CONDITION :  Bleeding is continuing since last 1 month. After taking 3 MODUS and 4  PAUSE MF daily bleeding is not being stopped.

Background

On 20.07.2007 she undegone following Operation at Kolkata,West Bengal,India  under Dr.Goutam Khastagir  at Belle Vue Clinic.

       Diagnosis :  Extensive pelvic adhesions between bowel,omentum,uterus and both
         adnexa. Following adhesiolysis bilateral overian endometrioma
         identified,drained and ablated.

       Operation :  Laparoscopic surgery for bilateral overaian endometrioma.   
         
       Post Operation :  after that  She was given 3  DECAPEPTYL Injection on AUGUST 2007, Sept 2007 and OCT'07

Pelvic Ultrasound Report   (07.03.2009)

Method : Transabdominal

         UTERUS :   
         -   Anteverted
         -   Size 7.4 x 3.6 x 4.6 cm
         -   Myometrium - Homogenous
         -   E.T; 5.9 mm
         -   Cervix looks normal
         RIGHT OVARY
         Bulky. Size: 4.9 x 4.2 x 2.5 cm. It contains two cysts of 16 mm and 3 cm
         in size. Both appears to be endometriotic in origin.
         LEFT OVARY
         Normal Size : 3.0 x 1.8 x 2.2 cm almost fully occupied by a ?
         endometriotic cyst.
    Impression : Ovarian endometriosis

   I can sympathize with you and your concern for your daughter. It does sound as though she is in good hands, as far as her care at this time...however, her endometriosis must be very severe.
    Have you been in continuous contact with her doctor? Also, is her doctor an Endometriosis/Fertility Specialist?
    I would suggest you contact her doctor immediately and/or locate a specialist as soon as possible. The pain and damage already done may make it impossible for her to ever have children. And if her Endo is in the severe stages, as it sounds, a total hysterectomy might be in order...
    Seek out a specialist, she does not need to go through this kind of pain and discomfort.
