QuestionI have a burning sensation in my back. I had an epidural with the birth of my baby, who is now 8 weeks old. The pain has been pretty constant for many weeks, but seems to be getting worse. Is there a connection between the epidural and the ache? What can I do for the pain? Nothing seems to help.

I had answered this question, but I'm seeing is unanswered. My apologies if you did not recieve the first answer.
I would suggest you speak with your OB. There are times when an epidural placement causes issues well past it's use. You may need to be referred to someone who deals with epidurals, such as a pain specialist. I can't diagnosis what's happening, but I can tell you it's not uncommon.
Please follow up and if you don't get answers from one doctor, see another. You whouldn't be hurting in that area anymore.
