I'M 14 WEEKS PREGNANT AND I WANT TO KEEP IT BUT MY BOYFRIENDS MOM INSIST THAT I GET AN ABORTION,I DON'T WANT ONE AND MY BOYFRIEND DOESN'T WANT ME TO HAVE ONE EITHER BUT SHE KEEP ON PUSHING THE ISSUE SAYING "I'M NOT READY TO BE A GRANDMOTHER" BUT WE ARE 18 AND 19 AND I THINK WE CAN MAKE OUR OWN MINDS UP. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Answer
You're 18, you can do what you like. In addition, your boyfriend's mother is not in charge of your life- only you are. I recommend you enlist the help of another adult if she is constantly giving you issues. It is your choice to have this baby and she needs to accept that it is your choice.

If she continues to pressure you, a firm, "This is my choice, not yours, and I choose to keep it" should eventually keep her in line.
