QuestionI have had a lot of Braxton Hicks earlier in this pregnancy, but within the last month or so, I haven't had anything. No Braxton Hicks, no real contractions, nothing. I haven't lost my mucus plug, and my cervix is still closed. I feel like I am not progressing at all, but have hit a stand still right after the baby dropped. Within the past few days, my hips and all the muscles around, have been hurting. It hurts to walk, sit, or sleep. Is this a sign of labor soon to come, or just another general pain to deal with? I don't remember this with my first pregnancy.
AnswerHolly,
It sounds like the baby is dropping a bit more. Your pelvic bones are trying to adjust and this makes your hips hurt. Sometimes you could be having Braxton Hicks and just not feel them. Don't worry you won't be pregnany forever. You are almost finished! Enjoy these last few days or week of feeling your baby kick!
