Pregnancy Leakage Before Delivery: What Could It Be?

My daughter in law is 2 days from due date and is leaking.  She went to the hospital and was told it was not fluid or urine, what else could it be.  They sent her home, should they be concerned?

It might just be mucus. Women tend to have much more mucus towards the end of their pregnancy. I would advise her to go back to the hospital if the leaking continues or changes in anyway. Just because it wasn't her bag of water this time, it might be next time. Hope this helps!
