Armpit Pain: Causes, Symptoms & When to See a Doctor
QuestionHi,
I've recently been experiencing armpit discomfort. I don't feel any kind of lump but I'm paranoid its cancer. Should I have it checked out nonetheless, even though perhaps it could just be something as simple as a muscle pull (I have a toddler)? Can breast cancer be detected in the arm pits?
AnswerYour symptom can be a large number of things. Pain is not a prominent or common symptom in early cancer or even in early phases of cancer spreading to the arm pit. If cancer would be present there it would be probable that there would be a lump too. However you do have a problem whatever its cause. I suggest that you let a dr. check it!
