QuestionHello -
Thank you for taking the time to answer my question. I am currently on the pill so that I have less cramps and lighter bleeding. I do want to stop taking the pill however for personal reasons. Are there any natural ways that I can have less cramps and lighter bleeding? Thank you
AnswerSometimes it works to take the pill for your problems, sometimes it makes it worse. So, it's not the solution. I think it takes some times and effort to find the right natural solution, but you can do it if you are motivated.
It's important to eat right, to exercise and get enough sleep - sounds like what everyone always says but it's true. My daughter and I worked with some good women's vitamins, extra calcium, and Vitamin B6. Eventually, she got relief. Check on Dr. Mercola's website (mercola.com) and on the Natural Family Planning website (ccli.org). They will both have recommendations or books to suggest to help you out.
The pill has no beneficial effects, so you are wise to quit taking it. There can be serious side effects, especially if you are young when you start taking it.
