Delayed Period After Stopping Birth Control: What to Expect

I was taking Mircette for 2 years and decided to switch because I was getting terrible migraines. I finished my last pack and should have gotten my period last week but it hasnt come yet. My boyfriend and I have had sex a couple times using condoms so I was wondering how long does it usually take for a period to come once stopping BC?

Sometimes it may take weeks or even months before getting your period after going off the pill. If you don't get your period a month after the last pill you should visit a doctor. Before doing that you may take a pregnancy test just to rule out pregnancy.
